What a painting quote should cover
Measurements, surface condition, access, preparation, primer, finish coats and protection all affect the scope. We discuss paint selection and the level of durability needed for each area. Persistent damp or moving cracks may need separate investigation before painting can proceed.
The quote should make clear which repairs and materials are included, what is excluded and how the work will be sequenced. Colour changes and extra repairs are agreed before they are added.

Do you supply the paint?
Paint supply can be included in the quotation. We agree the product, finish and colour before ordering, or discuss whether client-supplied paint is suitable.
Is preparation included in the price?
The quote sets out the preparation and repairs included. Loose paint removal, filling, sanding and priming depend on surface condition; larger defects or damp repairs may need a separate allowance.
Can you quote from photos?
Photos help us understand the job, but measurements, access and surface condition may need a site visit before a firm quotation.
Do you paint outside Johannesburg?
We also consider work across Gauteng. Share the suburb, property type and job size so we can confirm availability and any access or travel considerations.
